Response To Breif

The brief we have chosen for the A2 section of our media course was the second brief of 15. The brief includes a movie trailer for a flexible genre. We have been tasked with creating 2 of 3 ancillaries; a website for the film, a film magazine front cover featuring the film, a poster for the film. We have decided that he ancillaries that we will be working with will be making a poster and making the front cover for a magazine featuring the film. I have chosen to use Horror as the genre for reasons that entail that fact that we have done this genre before and also the fact that it is an admired genre by us. For a target audience, we are looking at 15-25 aged people with an interest In viewing movies and going to the cinema especially. The genre that we covered last year for creating the beginning of a movie sequence was of psychological thriller. As this genre relates closely to the general horror genre, we can rely on certain studies we carried out last year to gives more advantages in our research and planning. From last year we also learnt a range of editing and filming techniques.
